Dr. Bahadır Baykal is a highly experienced ENT specialist and facial plastic surgeon based in Istanbul, internationally recognized for his work in rhinoplasty and functional nose surgery. With more than two decades of surgical experience, Dr. Baykal has performed thousands of procedures in the fields of cosmetic rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, and functional nasal surgery.
After graduating from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1994, Dr. Baykal completed his specialization in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and Head & Neck Surgery at the Ministry of Health Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 1999. During his specialization and professional career, he focused particularly on functional rhinoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, and sleep apnea surgery.
Dr. Baykal has participated in numerous advanced surgical trainings and cadaver workshops in leading medical institutions around the world, including France, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and the United States. These international trainings allowed him to work alongside some of the most respected experts in facial plastic surgery and rhinoplasty, further refining his surgical techniques.
In 2001, he received specialized training in functional and revision rhinoplasty from Prof. Dr. Pedro Claros, President of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, at Clínica Claros in Barcelona. He also attended advanced surgical programs in institutions such as New York University School of Medicine and Institut Georges Portmann in Bordeaux, focusing on endoscopic sinus surgery and modern rhinoplasty techniques.
Dr. Bahadır Baykal is an active member of several prestigious medical organizations including the European Rhinologic Society, European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, Turkish Rhinology Society, and the Turkish Society of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
